Walnut and travertine kitchen
An open kitchen where dark wood and warm stone set the tone for the whole home.
The brief was to combine a properly working kitchen with an open social area facing the living room. The answer: floor-to-ceiling walnut tall units hiding appliances and pantry, and a travertine island that works as worktop, breakfast table and meeting point.
Layered lighting, with LEDs in the shelves and pendants over the island, keeps the kitchen warm even in the evening.
